Windows 10 Update - All DLNA stopped working

Windows 10 just forced a major upgrade on my system and now all DLNA media servers have stopped appearing in my devices. I have turned off Windows firewall and the Comodo firewall I have installed and I have also uninstalled and re-installed Serviio with no luck. Plex is affected the same way so it is not specifically a Serviio issue. Both media servers are still running, but are somehow being blocked by Windows. Is anybody else experiencing this? Is there a fix (short of system restore which is only a temporary fix)? I'm thinking that Ubuntu might be the way to go from now on as these forced MS updates are completely unacceptable.
Re: Windows 10 Update - All DLNA stopped working
It's possible that after the Windows update your IP address has changed. Your players are still looking for the previous IP address, and both Serviio and Plex aren't there. I strongly suggest you use static IP for your Serviio computer.
So, there's every chance that there's nothing wrong with your computer. What are you using to play the videos? If it's a Sony product, you can go into the network settings of the Sony and remove all currently listed media servers. Then let it scan the network again.
If it truly is an issue on the computer, make sure that Serviio is set to the correct IP address. In the Serviio console, on the Status tab, at the bottom is a box labeled "Bound IP Address". Even if it says auto, click it to see what it shows as the detected IP address and make sure that's the same address the computer is using. Open a command windows and type ipconfig. This will return your IP address.

Re: Windows 10 Update - All DLNA stopped working
Thanks for the suggestions. I don't think it is the devices (mconnect on iPhone, Samsung TV, and Sony TV), but I refreshed the Sony as recommended with no luck.
I then checked the IP address and compared it to the address listed on the Serviio status tab and they matched. What is strange is that there is no network traffic from either server when I monitor them with Comodo. Before this unwanted update (it was a big one, like a service pack in the not-so-long-ago days) there was always some traffic from the servers even when I wasn't actually addressing one. Now it's nothing. Windows has seemingly stopped them from getting out even though I have turned off the built in firewall. Perhaps it's s port that's being blocked, but I am not sure which one needs to be open and how to check on that in Windows. Both programs have full system rights in the Comodo firewall (and they don't appear even when Comodo is disabled). I have also confirmed that both servers are actually running.
I am at a loss on how to proceed and incredibly frustrated at Microsoft for hosing my media server which was functioning great before the Windows update. I should add that the Dell PC is only one month old and has no added software other then the media servers, Comodo firewall, and Panda antivirus. Any ideas? Anyone? Thanks.

Check that your network is a Home network, and not public or work?
Re: Windows 10 Update - All DLNA stopped working - SOLVED
Thanks for the suggestion. It was set to private network. It turned out to be the firewall after all. Somehow the Windows update screwed up the firewall install completely so that it was still blocking traffic even when disabled (even though Firefox still connected fine). I uninstalled the firewall and Serviio was visible again. I reinstalled the firewall and went through all of the configuration steps again and Serviio is still working. Bottom line: A corrupted firewall can result from Windows update which only a complete uninstall of the firewall is the solution.
