Minimum requirement for PC

Hi, I have Serviio installed on my MAC and PC, for the PC what would be the minimum requirement for memory and CPU to plays high quality movies ?
The video stutters a lot on high quality HD video, and I have check the FAQ.

On lower quality video I have no issue.

My WIFI Router is a Cisco 4200 so I know it is OK.

What kind of an Internet connection do you have ?

Switch to cat5 for connectivity - much more reliable than Wifi, or maybe reposition your wireless for a better signal...what % strength is the signal ? Any other users on the network ?

Wireless 803.11n @ 5ghz may be the answer (less interference and higher bandwidth) ... I have not made that change but I am considering ..

"Minimum spec" is really hard to gauge for HD playback.

If you're using VLC you can improve performance dramatically with a simple changing of the x264 skip loop filter setting.

Or are you talking about running the Serviio server on your PC and another device is doing the rendering?
