High res jpg problem

I have searched the forum and a few people have had the "over 4096" resolution problem but no one seems to have solved it. I have tried the addition of:
<LimitImageResolution>false</LimitImageResolution>
but this has had no effect, and I see a previous member also tried this with no luck.
Is there no way to display high resolution jpgs? With cameras now saving huge file sizes, this problem must surely be a common problem.

Re: High res jpg problem

I have a new UE55ES8000 and my PC is on W7 x64. I use a Nikon D7000 camera so this limitation is a major restriction for me. Thanks for any help you may offer.

Can you view the images via AllShare server?

Re: High res jpg problem

I have attached the log but I also now have a bigger problem as you will see. The server will not run. I turned off the Allshare server which made no difference (can they both run together?) and I disabled the firewall and still no luck.
Maybe you can see both problems from the log. Thanks for staying with me on this.

Re: High res jpg problem

Your change to profiles.xml broke it. Also enable detailed logging.

Re: High res jpg problem

I thought I only added the extra line for the resolution problem. How do I resolve this? Re-install? I reverted to the original profile which I had saved but it still will not run.

Re: High res jpg problem

Probably reinstall is the easiest. Just run the installer again.

Re: High res jpg problem

I have installed the latest 1.1 version and it is running again. So...back to where I started. How do I amend the profile to show large jpg's? The last time I tried, I opened the profile in Notepad, added <LimitImageResolution>false</LimitImageResolution>, and then dragged the .txt file into the .xml file and saved, but this is what you say broke it. What did I do wrong? I admit I know little about xml's.

Re: High res jpg problem

I think there might be something preventing displaying transcoded images on the D series Samsungs via Serviio. Will try to look into it.
