[SOLVED] Bravia 2014 does not play any TS containing 50fps
I experience my KDL-42W829B not being able to play any TS containing 50fps video. Which is pretty nasty, because those are my DVB recordings and I'm not in the habit of editing and transcoding programs I don' t plan to archive anyway.
What happens on the TV is that mediaplayer does fire up, shows the videos's name, control buttons, the correct length of the video, but actual playback never starts and the counter stays at 0:00:00. The menu vanishes after a few seconds, leaving a black screen, and that's it. The TV doesn't show any error message, but is still responsive and playback attempts can be cancelled at any time.
My trusted 2011 KDL-24EX320 plays the very same files flawlessly.

With my limited experience in reading logfiles, I think that Serviio is delivering the video in native format, doing so in good faith, unaware that the Bravia won't be able to cope with it.
Any ideas highly appreciated,
