[SOLVED] Live video streams on Bravia KDL-40EX723 ?

Hi,

I'm trying to get live video streaming working on this TV and I was wondering if anybody has got this working!

Streaming audio and video files that are stored on my PC work perfectly. However, any livestream that I add in "online sources" is not seen at all in the menu on my Bravia. If I go in the TV menu to Media > Videos > Serviio then I see all the shared files on my PC but I cannot see any live stream listed there. Also under "Bravia Internet Video" *(where BBC iPlayer etc is located) nothing shows up. I'm not sure WHERE it is supposed to show up but I cannot find it anywhere so I suppose it is just not working. (If I'm looking in the wrong place please tell me!)

Btw: I have put all the latest plugins in the plugin directory so that should be OK. Rebooted the PC, waited a long time for stuff to get organised, etc...

So I was hoping that somebody with this TV (or similar) has it working and can explain to me how it is done. Possibly with a stream and exact link to that stream so that I can reproduce that exactly. Many thanks if somebody wants to take that efford!

Cheers

If "Bravia Internet Video" does not work, online source with serviio does not work too.
You have a internet connection problem.
try
Home -> Network Set-up -> View Network Status

Home -> Refresh Internet Content

What is your connection setup/configuration ?

Network status is OK and "Bravia Internet Video" works perfect. I use for example BBC iPlayer all the time. But I just don't see any live streams that I try to make available through Serviio. This is still the same also after "Refresh Internet Content".

Am I supposed to see them under "Bravia Internet Video"?

As I already mentioned, files stored on my PC stream to the Bravia flawlessly with Serviio. So internet works, Serviio communicates with Bravia, I just don't see the streams appearing. I must be overlooking something stupid....

OK, it's working now! It appears that I was unlucky enough that none of the streams that I tried were working, even though they worked in my browser. But I have now found a few streams that work so nothing is wrong with my setup :P

can you put up a screenshot of the live streams that are working for you? Or 1 of them, I am having a similar problem. Rss feeds work, web resource feeds work, but no live streams yet. Thanks.
