4OD no sound

Hi all,

Apologies if this is a stupid question as I'm a complete novice when it comes to media tech etc,
give me a datawarehouse to play with any day.

I've managed to add a couple of 4OD series to my library, the video plays fine on my Sony Bravia - model: KDL-24X320
however I can't figure out how to get the sound working?
I'm currently using the Sony Bravia 2009 profile as that seems to work best with other files I play.
Any advice much appreciated.

If logs / config files will help let know which ones and I'll figure out where they are and post them.

What are 4OD series, local media or an online streams ?

Hi thanks for the really quick reply,

Currently I'm trying to view online streams, so for example Brasseye using the URL: www.channel4.com/programmes/brass-eye/4od
Video plays fine, but no sound.

I think I have the most recent plugin, but again - am a complete novice so may just doing something really blatently wrong?

OK,

Could you copy/backup the ./serviio/config/profiles.xml file and replace by this one, then restart serviio services or reboot the pc (select profile Sony Bravia 2011 on serviio console) ?

Awesome - that does the trick - 4OD now working,

Oddly many of my local avi files no longer play now, But I can live with switching xml files and profiles - so thats all cool
