[SOLVED] Avi problems with BDP

I read many topics in this forum about avi and BDP (i know that it has already been asked)but i didn't unterstand what to do (I am not keen on codecs).
These are the info:
Sony BDP-S390 (2011, updated and bought in Europe) and SMP profile
When I tried to play avi files it says that they aren't supported.
Can someone explain how to fix the problem? i'll post a detailed log if necessary.

For Sony BDP-S390, use "Sony BD Player / SMP" profile.
Could you provide information about the avi file that does not play ? (see signature link)

Suggest to change the FourCC of your avi file to XVID with this tool : http://wiki.serviio.org/doku.php?id=avi4cc

I am already using that profile.
