Best way to create a video play list

The Harry Potter series has a bunch of movies. I think it starts with Chamber of secrets and ends with Deadly Hallows Part 1 and 2. What is the simplest way to create a Harry Potter play list with all the different movies? Is there a simple text file I can create?

you can create a .m3u playlist, like you would for music. You'll then find it in Videos/Playlist category.

and is there a similar way to create a playlist of individual online files which are not part of a single RSS or html file? for example, direct links to a few online mp4 movies or clips on different sites.

Playlists wont work for online stuff yet. But there is a plugin for that.

yes, LiveFeeds plugin will work but it's not convenient to update and upload playlist file to web site each time when list is updated. i will check playlist plugin.

hi zip, any reason why Source URL on "Online Resource" form doesn't allow local file URL like file:////C:/apps/Serviio/myFeeds/LiveFeeds.rss? This way there would be no need to upload feed files to a web site for LiveFeeds plugin.

Local URL passes unit test in LiveFeeds plugin but raises the error in Serviio:

Provided URL is not valid

To be able to store online resources (live and podcasts) as simple XML local files i have converted LiveFeeds plugin into XmlFeed plugin.

it can handle remote and local urls like this http://file:////C:/apps/Serviio/dev/myFeeds/xmlFeed_MyLiveTV.xml
