Mediabrowser does not show files

Hi all,

I recently reinstalled my server running ClearOS 7.8.1.
Before I did this I had Serviio 2.1 running on it like it should.
I just re-added all the audio (MP3) & video files to the same location as before, but only the audio files are shown in the media browser.
No videos are shown at all (series and movies).

I attempted to reboot and to "Re-scan Video Metadata", but no video files are listed in the media browser.

I have the same problem with "Folders" (audio & video). No path is shown to browse to.
Please advice,

J.

Re: Mediabrowser does not show files

From that image, you're in the Audio portion of the MediaBrowser, so only audio files will be shown. You have to be in the Video section to see the videos. Check your Presentation settings in the console and ensure the Video section is enabled.

Re: Mediabrowser does not show files

Thanks for your quick response atc98092,

I forgot to do the following:
Enable for the users "Users with Access" under "Shared Folders".

Now it works again.

Greetings,

J.

Re: Mediabrowser does not show files

Ah yes. I forget that myself sometimes. With the updates that came with Serviio 2.0, MediaBrowser requires users to be granted access to each shared media folder. It's a good setup, but that one little detail has to be done. :)
