Connectivity Problem

I'm trying to my connect my Mac (version 10.12.6) to a Ruark music player (R5) wirelessly. The Ruark is configured to connect to the network and it's IP address is visible on the hub's device list. A few months ago I could connect without a problem and haven't changed anything. Any suggestions on what I can check or how to fix it? Thanks,

Re: Connectivity Problem

First, I'm not at all familiar with Mac, so this is more generic advice.

Check for a firewall and/or anti-virus setting that might be blocking access. Sometimes an update might change settings and block something that was previously allowed. If one or both are connected wirelessly to the network, your access point might have a security setting that is blocking wireless devices from seeing each other, or even your home wired network. Again, sometimes an update will toggle the setting without you knowing.
