Refresh movie metadata and details

Hello,
I made the mistake of modifying the data of some movies on themoviedb.com. Unfortunately the service does not update and display the modified data, it shows the previous ones.

I tried "Force update" with the metadata update buttons, and even restarted the service, but the situation did not change.
I could not find a solution to the problem in the forum either. Can someone help me how to force the update of the modified data?
Maybe I can delete the metadata of a movie from the database or all of them to search everything from scratch?

Serviio version: Serviio Pro 2.4

Thank you for your help

Re: Refresh movie metadata and details

There is a button on the Serviio console that forces a metadata refresh, but if that's not doing it you need to remove the file from your Serviio library, ensure it's gone, then add it back in. You can just move the file to a location that Serviio doesn't use for a library then move it back when you're ready. That should ensure it pulls the latest metadata from online.

Re: Refresh movie metadata and details

Thank you your answer. Unfortunatly metadata refresh button doesn't work me.

If I want to search for all the movie metadata again, is the easiest way to remove the shared folders and then re-mount them in serviio?

Re: Refresh movie metadata and details

I don't believe it's necessary to remove the complete library folder from Serviio. Simply moving the specific file out of the library folder should be sufficient. Of course if you have multiple files that need refreshing, doing as you suggest might be the easier thing to do. Remove the library folder, let Serviio catch itself up (maybe for a forced library refresh to ensure it's removed from the database) then add the folder back into Serviio. Depending on the number of files you have in the location, it might take a little time to repopulate all the files and metadata. But that will ensure it's a complete reload from TheMovieDB.com.

Re: Refresh movie metadata and details

Thank you very much for your help.

I remember there are several problematic files but I need to look through them. Then I will know which method will be easier depending on the quantity.

Thanks and Regards
