Re: Connection drop while playing online video with Samsung

Zip, I am getting the same problem using that transcode to TS profile when streaming the abc news from http://abclocal.go.com/kgo/xml?id=7095531&param1=mrss on my D Series TV. I've reported this in ticket #425

The stream is transcoded correctly to mpeg/ac3.ts but the TV says not supported video codec, and the log shows "[WebServer] I/O error: Connection reset by peer: socket write error"

Interestingly these streams play correctly on my Series D Blu-Ray, and the downloaded file transcodes and plays correctly on boththe TV and BR, so the failure is only in playing the online transcoded stream on the TV.

Attached are the logs from the successful BR(64) and the failed TV(65).

Basically, any online feeds do not play till end. i don't think you will have some issue sine looks like it is related to T-MSX6DEUC mainboards.

I have created play list http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/play ... 51C7BA21F1 with YouTube videos posted in this thread.

Re: Connection drop while playing online video with Samsung

Hello and thank you for a very nice media server!

I use a Samsung LE40C550 smart TV with a T-MSX5DEUC mainboard, and I have exactly the same issue. Streaming from a local file works perfectly, streaming from Online videos exits with "Network disconnected". Did somebody managed to find solution or workaround in the meantime?

Thank you in advance!
