Ue46es8000 tv not playing any mkvs

hi

I can't play any mkvs on my TV. I can see the thumbnails but when I when I try to play them, a message saying unsupported. I have been using samsung PC share manager and all mkvs play. I'm a novice and I've look through some of the other post and I'm not sure what do to. Saying that I'm a quick learner so be gentle.

Tried remux with mkvmerge, still wouldn't play now trying handbrake

Nope still no luck with Handbrake!
