Samsung ES7100 video streaming not working

I just bought a Samsung 55ES7100 TV and I can't get video streaming to work from my PC via a wireless network. The router is a dlink dir-655 with 802.11b/g/n capabilities. I cannot view videos from my PC and also Netflix doesn't work either. I am using Serviio software. The TV can see serviio from my pc as well as the folders and avi files. But when I select one of them "Loading" appears on the top right hand side of the TV screen and doesn't go any farther.
I have a Samsung 55D7000 and it works perfectly (and it's much further away from the router than the ES7100 is).
Can anyone please help. I have spent many many hours on this. I also contacted Samsung but they told me that the streaming won't work with Win 7 64 bit???? (but it does work on my other TV) and to reactivate my Netflix account to fix the Netflix problem. The TV is only 2 weeks old and if I can't get this to work, I will be returning it - bought it for streaming videos.

I'd try upgrading firmware. Also make sure you have the C/D/E Samsung profile selected.
