Podcast Seeking

I have a samsung ES7000 and i use the samsung c/d/e profile.
The tv will generally allow seek on all video and audio content.

Seek is not possible on a podcast
eg

Is there anything that can be done about podcask seek?

is it possible to use the profile system to present the podcast as another format that might allow the tv to seek.

or is it a limitation of playing a file that, in the words tubbs and edward, "is not 'local'"..if so , is there an option/plugin that would download the file locally first?

And it wouldnt be possible to use the 'online transcoding' process to change to a format that could seek?

FWIW when i press info on tv it says fileformat 'audio/mpeg', which can be seeked (in normal music).
