Unable to see or play Crackle feeds!

Hi Guys,

I'm unable to see or play Crackle feeds (via a VPN) on my Panasonic GT30. No thumbnails or anything appear in the online folders and I've tried many of the feed URL's on the forum as the online sources in Serviio! Feeds display and play fine in browser locally and over network!

Have searched the forums to no avail and am new to Serviio and on a steep learning curve so any suggestions, advice or solutions would be greatly appreciated.

Here is the log. Couldn't see any mention of Crackle though.

Let me know what you think and if there is anything there that might explain the problem?

Would really like to to be able to access and play these Crackle and other online feeds via Serviio.

you probably copied it from a web page that shortens them. Are these supposed to work with the Crackle plugin?

Yes that URL is not a feed and was entered by mistake. The Crackle one I have been trying is as follows which was mentioned on the Serviio forum :-

If this also is not a valid feed, what do valid feeds look like and where would i find them?

I don't see any mention of crackle in the posted log. Only see some ffmpeg failures. Try to add just the crackle URL as an online resource, remove any others, enable detailed logging and post it here.

There may be a problem with the RSS feed from Crackle (http://www.crackle.com/rss/media/Zm14PTUwMDAmZmNtdD04MiZmcD0xJmZ4PQ.rss). There are five thumbnail entries per movie in the RSS. It looks like Serviio is picking up the last thumbnail entry and the last entry is problematic. I ran a test by having crackle.groovy read a local RSS file. After removing the last entry (the one with "/profiles/channels/....") from each movie in the RSS, the Crackle movie listing shows up for me.

Here are the five thumbnail entries I see in the RSS:

I think you are right. It plays for less than five minutes and it stops. In my case, I am playing Crackle using VLC and VLC would cycle to the next movie after the few minutes. This is the first time I actually try to play a full movie in VLC with Serviio--I normally play Crackle through an Android TV device and have to watch the commercials.
