Serviio

Hello ALL!! Here's my case:

Serviio v1.1 Installed on a Lenovo laptop running Windows 8 Pro x64
Samsung 40C6000 with a LAN IP of 192.168.1.5

1. I just installed Servvio and although it detects the TV, as shown here: http://i.imgur.com/7hu58.png the TV doesn't seem to detect Serviio's DLNA Media Server when i click "sources" on it, thus i have no way to view my shared media.

2. Even if my TV doesnt't seem to detect Serviio, then why Servvio which is able to detect the TV won't display Servvio's network icon within "My Computer" to initiate stream from there?

3. What the bound ip address option good for? i entried 192.168.1.2 inside its edit box, which is my Lenovo's LAN IP. What is used for? Should i leave it blank?

Are you able to ping the TV from your laptop ?

Try turning firewall OFF.

I can assure you that Windows 7 and Serviio 1.1 + Samsung works.

Yes, iam able to pin my TV. Sometimes although ping is successfull Serviio v1.1 still deosnt detect the TV, so i have to plug out and then back in the xtra wirless network adaptor of samsung to reconnect to the router so servvio to detect it.

That's one thing. Another thing is that from "My computer" i cannot see the yellow servvio icon so to pick from within it the movies i want to see, from the exact point i want to see. Sometimes it appears and disappers. why? is that?

Please naser me to both quwstions.

1. Try with wired cable
2. It disappears sometimes, but should reappear within 1 min.
Make sure firewall is OFF. Make sure also right Samsung profile is selected.

It never appears back that yellow servvio icon, so i cant start a movie from a specific point.

As for the other thing i have to plug/uplug the exta wirelless adaptor in samshung for serviio to detect it. this happens all the time why?
