UPnP tethering with BubbleUPnP Server

I just had a quick question about UPnP tethering with BubbleUPnP server; once the device is tethered does that mean it will act the same outside of its Homegroup LAN? That is to say, could I use a tethered tablet to push media from the server on one LAN onto a television on a different LAN?

You should have asked this question on the BubbleUPnP XDA thread.
Yes what you describe is possible with BubbleUPnP Server + Android BubbleUPnP. You can also browse from the TV (or any other device able to browse) on the different LAN, your Media Server (eg Serviio) hosted on your home LAN.

Apologies, doesn't this still use Servio though? Or is the BubbleUPnP Server used in place of the Serviio server instead of in tandem?
Thanks for answering my initial question though.

Yes both work in tandem as BubbleUPNP Server will act as a proxy to Serviio. But your question is not Serviio specific since it would work with any
other Media Server.

Understood, thank you.
