missing videos

Some of the videos I added to the library are showing up on the online MediaBrowser, but not in the list of my Sony KDL-46NX720 TV. Profile in the console is currently set to Sony Bravia TV (2011). Anyone know why?

Transcoding is enabled. So far I found 3 missing MP4 videos out of 19, and 2 missing MKV videos out of 17.

Actually the videos might be in the list on my TV but appearing under a different name. Is there a way to make the filename appear in the list instead of the title Serviio assigns to the video?

Go into 'folders' if you have that enabled in serviio presentation.

Sorry to add to this posting but I have the same issue. After upgrading to 1.2 I can no longer see files on my Sony TV (my Sony Bluray player works ok with same files)
The same files were working perfectly prior to upgrade. I have tried both Sony 2012 and Sony 2012 US but both give errors saying No Items to Display.


TV is a Sony Bravia 2012 KDL-55EX645 (Canadian)
Windows 8 (64bit)

With "Sony Bravia TV (2012) - US" selected on serviio console (save after selection), this file should be transcoded to mpeg2video and should be supported by your Bravia model.
Could you enable detailed logging?
Could you simply rename your file, force a library refresh and try to play it? (post log section where file name appears)

Thank you so much, that did the trick. I thought I had tried everything but maybe didnt leave it long enough.
Having the confirmation of the correct profile to use helped a lot. Since its not a US device but a Canadian one I wasnt confident on which option to choose.

Anyway I appreciate your fast and accurate help!

I had to reinstall Serviio and now the file which I provided details of in the earlier post in this thread will play on my Sony Bravia TV but not on my Sony BluRay.

Please could you advise the correct profile to use with a Sony BDVE190?
This file and many others now give the error "File corrupted or unsupported"
The files were previously playing with an edited version of profile to allow .avi .dvix and .xvid to play.

Please advise which profile to choose and also if any manual edits need to be made?
