[Resolved] 1.2.1 Do not add any video

I just installed Serviio 1.2.1 but it doesn't add any video to the library when I watch the log file I see many :
WARN [LibraryManager] Skipping processing metadata for an unsupported file. Message: Unknown video file type.
Is it me or Serviio ? If it's me could somebody help me ? If it's Serviio, is there any workaround or a new version coming ?

EDIT : Do not install Serviio in a location where there is a '&' in the path.

Re: 1.2.1 Do not add any video

Can you post ffmpeg -i of a file that's not added?

Re: 1.2.1 Do not add any video

Works for my tests. It may be something I've fixed in the meantime. Try to rename the file to something like test.mp4.

Re: 1.2.1 Do not add any video

When will you release the next version ? Did you test with 1.2.1 ? My Serviio is pretty useless if it can't add any video to it's database.
What's the purpose of renaming that file ? I have hundreds of video file (mkv, flv, avi...) but none of them is added to the database.

I just wanted to try if the file will be added when renamed.
Next version is a long time off.

Ok, tried to rename the file to test.mp4, still not added. Did you test with 1.2.1 ?

Re: 1.2.1 Do not add any video

No, I only tried to use the FFmpeg output in my current code base, which worked.

Are you saying you can't see any videos, no matter what format? Can you enable detailed log (but use TRACE instead of DEBUG), rename the file agian to trigger library adding, and post the log - it should show the FFmpeg command result.

Re: 1.2.1 Do not add any video

I forgot to say you have to also change this in log4j.xml

  Code:
<param name="Threshold" value="DEBUG"/>

to

  Code:
<param name="Threshold" value="TRACE"/>

You should see some TRACE entries in the log after the FFmpeg invocation
