Servio console not running when it is?

2 changes that may have had an effect ... but i cant say which

the upgrade to 1.3 , or the fact i had to change a router?

Now when start the serviio service it says its not running and wont open the consoie

I know the service is running, because its a linux install on my synology NAS and the tv and other bits round the house stream fine to it.

Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling the pc section of the program with no joy

You have to use the same version of the console as the server. If your NAS is running 1.2.1 then you need to use the 1.2.1 console.

Still didnt want to work, but when i edited the Vmoptions file and added

-Dserviio.remoteHost=192.168.x.xx - it worked for both 1.2 & 1.2.1 cheers

However 1.3 still dosent work.

Which means the NAS install on the dowloads page will no longer work unless you advise that they need either 1.2 or 1.2.1 version.

Also is there any way of getting rid of the 1,3 nag screen every time i use the console ?

You can uncheck it in the console settings.
