Serviio wakes up my NAS every hour

As I checked in log:
... 2013-12-09 02:31:19,928 WARN [LibraryManager] Extractor ONLINE_VIDEO_SOURCES failed to connect to metadata source for file /video/S9E17.avi, will try again later: Error connecting to thetvdb.com: http://thetvdb.com/api/123C8CA4529142E9 ... /17/en.xml 2013-12-09 02:31:20,051 INFO [LibraryUpdatesCheckerThread] Updated 'S9E17' (/video/S9E17.avi) in Library 2013-12-09 03:31:23,554 WARN [LibraryManager] Extractor ONLINE_VIDEO_SOURCES failed to connect to metadata source for file /video/2011.mkv, will try again later: Error connecting to thetvdb.com: http://thetvdb.com/api/123C8CA4529142E9 ... 1/2/en.xml 2013-12-09 03:31:23,702 INFO [LibraryUpdatesCheckerThread] Updated '2011' (/video/2011.mkv) in Library ...

So it tries to retrieve metadata from online resource every hour if the retrieval fails... But I know there are some movies that it cannot find metadata from online resources. Is it possible to stop retry if it fails (for certain times), or adjust the retry internal to be not one hour, but less frequently?

Re: Serviio wakes up my NAS every hour

Since it appears to be a series of some sort, I would consider renaming the files with "theRenamer" http://www.therenamer.com/ . Just add the Show name to the front of your files and drag it onto the program and see what it names it as. I was having the same issue until someone turned me to theRenamer. It works well, but it isn't perfect. The program has to be able to scrape the name properly before it can attempt to actually rename the file that will allow theTVDB metadata to work properly.

It can be time consuming but I personally enjoy getting every file in my collection to scrape properly and just work. When my log file starts growing it is usually a metadata error for my tv shows. I am currently working on a series myself. Give it a try and see what you think.

example Name of a file that needs fixed "Alias.S1E1.mkv"(mkv could be avi, mp4 etc, whatever it is) Then use therenamer after setting it up and it should pull someting like - "Alias.s01e01.truth Be Told " and now theTVDB metadata will work properly in Serviio.

Now as far as the other files that are not readable like your 2011 file, just put all of those files in a seperate folder outside of the already added sources of your library added in serviio. Then add the newly created folder into your serviio library and then disable the Metadata checkbox and it will no longer attempt to extract this information from online sources.

theRenamer works with some manual manipulations, thanks.
But still I have movies that cannot find online metadata. Your solution is to completely disable the metadata retrieval right? I don't see an option to disable it for one folder but enable for another.
I think Serviio shouls have a smarter way to treat this: If it cannot find metadata, then stop retrying. Or user should be able to adjust to retry interval.

Re: Serviio wakes up my NAS every hour

theRenamer can be workaround but it doesn't really solve the problem. Recently I updated to Serviio 1.4 and the thing seems getting worse. It doesn't hibernate at all.
Attached is the detail log.
