Is my S790 faulty?

Hello,
I've had this unit for about a year now, and while it sometomes works well (with Netflix) it often crashes with Serviio - I'd say about half teh films crash halkf way through... this is increadibly annoying and I'd suspect Serviio is at fault but I've nbow seen it crash (freeze really) watchign Youtube videos...

I wonder if other people have seen this same behaviour and if I should return/replace the unit?

Thanks!

UPDATE:
I think I've figured it out, on several occasiouns now we would watch films and the player will always get stuck (freeze) at around 23 monmutes in... it woudl require a hard power disconnect to get it started again and obiovusly I'm not able to FF those minutes...

I thought about returnign it to Sony as broken buyt netflix and Blue ray work flawlessly...
Any ideas?

Hello MAte,
I took my S790 to OSny who were very nice but basiclaly didn't know what's the problem.. they did replace the main board - but I haven't had an opportunity to test it yet. The reas on for taht ois taht I gave up and got a Roku3 - run with Plex its simply awesome - every single file works porperly - FF/RW and subs - relaly can't complain...

Return to Sony
