Library wiped clean if started without media drive enabled
Hello Serviio forum,
I have been using Serviio for a few years and it is great software. But I've noticed a problem with the newer versions (I'm not sure if it applys to all versions) but if Serviio ever starts without the source drive being connected, such as a USB drive (with the media) not being plugged in, everything in the library folder will disappear and I have to force a scan all over again to re-populate the library folder. For this reason I disable automatic scanning of the source drive but the problem will happen even if the scanning process does not take place. As precaution I make a copy of the library folder and keep it saved on my desktop so that if this problem happens, I can simply replace Serviio's library folder and that way I will not have to force a scan to populate the library folder again. I do not remember this happening on older versions but I could be wrong. I am presently running version 1.4.1.2.
Is this a bug or is there something I can configure to stop this behavior?
