Re: Playlist

Similar problem here.

Created an m3u playlist an added it to a folder. Folder is named "playlist" an i selcted it in serviio.

On my samsung TV it appears in the folder list but its empty.

How do i make my m3u playlist appear on my TV?

Re: Playlist

You can create a playlist using winamp or windows media player for example. Both types of lists are supported.

Re: Playlist

Same here. Made playlist in Banshee (linux mint mediaplayer), since it can make list sorted by year. Not showing up in serviio? I've put i in my usual music folder, does it have to go in a separate playlist folder and get updated via console?

Re: Playlist

No, just store it in a shared audio folder. Check the log if there are any errors.

Re: Playlist

Firstly thanks for a great product, very simple, lightweight and robust.

Like others on this thread I cannot see my playlists. They are saved as M3U files under \My Playlists in a folder monitored by serviio.

I run WinAmp on Windows XP connected over HomePlug to my Yamaha RX-V473 AV Amp. The Yamaha detects the server and can select by album/artist/genre etc, and plays tracks nicely, but when I select playlists on the device it searches and returns 'no content'.

I can see the playlists on the Yamaha using windows media server, but this has several drawbacks over Serviio, so any help on getting Serviio to pick up the playlists would be welcome.

I have checked the log file and it makes no mention of the playlist folder or the m3u files in it?
