I’m getting out of ideas.
Do you run Serviio.app as current user or with root privileges?
Via Terminal:
  Code:
sudo /Applications/Serviio.app/Contents/MacOS/JavaApplicationStub

Or do you start it via Launchd on boot as described here (also root privileges): http://wiki.serviio.org/doku.php?id=mac_launchd

You can also check open ports (more details here http://wiki.serviio.org/doku.php?id=portinfo_mac):
  Code:
sudo lsof -i -P | grep JavaAppli

My response is this:
  Code:
JavaAppli 4933           root   61u  IPv4 0xffffff8031105500      0t0    TCP 192.168.0.100:44331 (LISTEN)
JavaAppli 4933           root   62u  IPv4 0xffffff801b85f6c0      0t0    TCP localhost:58292->localhost:58291 (TIME_WAIT)
JavaAppli 4933           root   63u  IPv4 0xffffff802fe116c0      0t0    TCP *:23423 (LISTEN)
JavaAppli 4933           root   64u  IPv4 0xffffff801b8a9c20      0t0    TCP *:23424 (LISTEN)
JavaAppli 4933           root   90u  IPv4 0xffffff801b85ade0      0t0    TCP *:8895 (LISTEN)
JavaAppli 4933           root   91u  IPv4 0xffffff802f526368      0t0    UDP *:1900
JavaAppli 4933           root  116u  IPv4 0xffffff801b8a3c20      0t0    TCP 192.168.0.100:8895->192.168.0.102:35421 (ESTABLISHED)

Re: [In progress] Serviio breaks after latest Java update on

I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to post this...

My Sony Bravia KDL-32CX523 (Ethernet straight from Virgin Media Superhub) stopped picking up Serviio form my Windows 7 laptop this week after months of working perfectly.

I have tried updating Java, reinstalling Serviio, making sure the firewall is letting everything through. I've even tried a system restore.

There's a green dot next to the TV in the console so it all looks like it should be working fine, but it's still not showing up.

Is there anything else I should be trying please?
