[CLOSED] After 1.3 upgrade! Some files suddenly unplayable

Hi all. All of my media is ripped into WMV format for portability. On my Sony Blu-Ray player with Serviio 1.2 I never had a problem with any media and one title would flow to the next seamlessly after playing.

Now after upgrading to 1.3 I might venture to guess that more than half of my library won't play, and when one title finishes it cannot progress to the next saying that the file is corrupt or unplayable. This was never the case before the upgrade, and all of the titles are ripped from their original sources the same way.

Is there a way to re-download 1.2 or 1.2.1, or does anyone know why this might be happening? There's no logged information, but I also haven't turned on debugging either. Seems like a stupid problem to have with just an upgrade.

Are you using the same profile as before?

Yes, I suppose. I haven't changed anything. In fact I had installed over 1.2.1 as suggested just because I was keeping the same library. I don't recall really changing much of anything (let alone a profile) when I installed Serviio a couple of months ago as it "just worked". Is there a protocol I should try to use (not even sure where to change that specifically). Almost all media was ripped to WMV to support portable uses on a Zune as well as Android.

The device and profile is Sony BDP-Sx70/SMP-N100 (2010). All of the files are now apparently unplayable (all WMV's), and the few AVI's aren't showing up at all.

I'm completely new to all of this so any direct hand holding or pointing to explicit resources would be great. This literally worked fine a few days ago.

I'll do this tonight. Thanks so much Zip. I see you all over these boards giving help...I really appreciate it. The wife is a bit annoyed that I tinkered with a software upgrade when she was already enjoying the server.

I've uploaded and attached the log to this post. I edited out the library look-up lines because of file size, but this is otherwise the entire log from when I just restarted the service and server. From my Sony player, I requested Serviio to play a single WMV movie. I got the unplayable message, which kept repeating itself. I assume it was moving on to the next file on it's own...but that's just a guess.

Well Zip, I went to recreate the whole process again...
renamed the log file (it had gotten really large)
exited the console
stopped the server
started the server (new log created)
started the console
went to launch a movie...

They all played thus far. Suddenly with no reason whatsoever, everything started playing. No updates to Blu-Ray player, no server updates, no changes in the network. Just started working. Thanks for the offer of help! I have a large library, I suppose I know how to post a detailed log for help now if nothing else.

Weird! This just started happening again! We were watching a TV series, and suddenly without warning, the next file came up as corrupted, and then the enxt, and then the next. I stopped the Blu-Ray player, and restarted it, and then it just told me there was no playable files. Still using the same profile, but I changed it to the US version (for avi support). Still, it had been working absolutely fine for weeks. No idea why it suddenly cut out!

Do you have wired or wifi interface ?
I suggest to fix all IP address of your devices (rooter configuration - or - devices network settings), what is your network setting?

It's a wired connection, and it's all back again.

Just doesn't make sense. But it's working right now so we're ok.
