Actually since the stream is dropping each 2-3 minutes, about 45-50 of them would be nice! :)

OK, posting version 2 and you can set items=50. Remember to set the console max items to at least 50.

Just to understand the use of the plugin: it's basically just to automate the usually manual reconnect within the folder. Or is there another idea behind? :?: :o

Yes, and also to get and cache the attributes of the current stream when you refresh the WebResource, which cannot be done with a "livestream".

A little update from my side: I am watching the BZ-stream via my media streaming device since more than 25 minutes without interruption... ;)

1st half of Liverpool - Arsenal without a drop out. I believe it's a Samsung issue...

OK, version 2 is there now. Thanks for letting me know. I don't know why my last update post did not take.

The Samsung is definitely more sensitive to stream breaks and errors. I don'tnow if the plugin makes a difference but yesterday I noticed the TV screen picture blacking out fora moment a few times but the Samsung did not load the next folder, and kept on streaming.

Re: TV/stream keeps dropping out

Here's a thought.
The original Samsung C/D profile streams the BloodZ avc-mpeg stream natively.
If you added the second optional line to your profile, the BloodZ avc-mpeg stream will be transcoded to mpeg2-mpegts
Perhaps the transcoding eliminates/reduces the stream irregularities and the Samsung has fewer dropouts.

Re: TV/stream keeps dropping out

Stream is without drops playing through my Fantec media streaming device since more than 2 hours... ;) So I guess I will just forget about the Samsung-internal DLNA option and use the device. Good that I did not threw it away :)

Re: TV/stream keeps dropping out

Update: after 5.5 hours of streaming the BZ stream via Fantec TV-FHDS onto my Samsung telly I think it's clear that the issue is Samsung-related. :D

Except for the assertion that it used to work.

Anyway, the webresource works well for me and offers a solution for those without other streaming devices.
