3D ASS & SUB Files

HI,
I am trying to watch a 3D movie on my F8000 with 3D subtitles.
I can't see any subtitles when using SUB files, so I used a program called "SRT 2 3D ASS" in order to convert SRT file to ASS.
When I am playing the movie I can see the subtitles but it's showing bunch of other stuff and sometimes the same line twice.
Is there a better way to see 3D subs?

Re: 3D ASS & SUB Files

copy/paste:
For the converted subtitles to work, the player must understand and obey POS tags in the .ass file and use internal fonts in .mkv files. This is the case with the Popcorn Hour 200 and 300 series of players. Most PC software players will also work, but many hardware players and most TVs won’t. Although many players claim to support the .ass subtitle format, they will not understand most of the special tags that are part of the format. If that is your case, then you’re out of luck….

So, are you claiming that there is no solution for 3D titles?

Re: 3D ASS & SUB Files

serviio rely on ffmpeg.
so, after those sentences before, go and search homepage of ffmpeg and look if it 'knows' how to handle those fonts, and after confirming that ffmpeg can handle them properly we can ask zip to impelment it in serviio. am i right?

ps. i would like to have 3d fonts too, english isn't my mother tongue
