Samsung UA32F6300AM issue

Hello there. I have Serviio installed on a Windows 8.1 PC which is wired to Netcomm NF3ADV Router which I believe has its own DLNA server built in. All my Media is on a 3Tb External drive, plugged into router. I have set Serviio up to view Folders Show Content only, with everything sub heading disabled. Images/Music/Video are all set to Show Category.

Everything appears OK (Folders, etc) when I select Serviio on my "Sources" When I select an AVI files (Most of them) It just says "loading" on the screen and the TV kind of locks up as pressing any button on the remote/menu/return doesn't work. After about 2 mins, the TV returns to the folder view.

Sometimes the TV will play the AVI for 5 seconds, then it just freezes the picture, and returns to the folder view after 2 mins.

I thought this may be a wireless issue, but if I select the "My DLNA Server" (Which I assume is the routers DLNA Server?) on the sources screen on the TV, most of the folders are visable and AVI's that didnt play using serviio, play thru OK

Maybe I dont have something set up correctly

Many thanks, Chris Johnson

Re: Samsung UA32F6300AM issue

The DLNA server might be on the NAS, which means it reads the files 'locally'. if you install Serviio on your PC, it has to go NAS -> network -> PC -> network -> TV. So wireless might be an issue.

Also make sure to select the right profile.
