Forced Subs not reading

I have a 46 D 6050 series Cannot read any subtitles little lone the embeded forced subs that should be there. I am running 1.4 serviio. Have all the subtitles checked off in the Delivery subtitles tab. Any clues to why ? I have talked to Samsung & they assure me that any software is up to date.

Re: Forced Subs not reading

Are the subtitles inside the mkv file? if yes, post ffmpeg -i for the file.

Re: Forced Subs not reading

I'm having the same problem, though on a D8000 series Samsung. I'm also on Serviio 1.4 and my TV is up to date. For subtitle settings I have them enabled, enable extraction, and enabled burned in subtitles=always. Preferred language is en,eng When I use my phone (Sam S4) with ServiioGo and have it play though MX Player the file plays the embedded subtitles on a MKV file. The same file on my Samsung does not play the subtitles or display the option to enable them.
