Blank screen for audio playback

Is it possible (maybe with Pro?) to blank the screen during streaming of audio tracks. If I'm just playing background music I find it irritating that there is so much going on on the screen. People are distracted and aren't listening to my witty conversation.

Some tv's have a screen off option but set on.....my Sony 2010 and 2011 do that.

Or use a different output for audio or are you limited to the tv.
