"Not Supported Audio Codec" When Playing Files

Hi,

I've had a search on here and I can't find what I'm looking for. I have a Samsung PN50C550G1F and on some of the video files I try and play, I get the error message "Not Supported Audio Codec". It's only on certain files, but not specific file types, i.e. one .mp4 file will work, but another .mp4 file won't. This is the same for .mkv files too.

My TV software seems to be up-to-date (2010/08/10_001016), and I can't see anything else that is wrong. The files work if played through a USB memory stick through the TV, just not through Serviio.

Any ideas?

Cheers
Glenn

That's the issue in a nutshell. It is possible for a file (in this case an MP4 container) to have different video and audio codecs, and your TV only supports some of them. We need the information from the file. Either use a program called MediaInfo, or you can use ffmpeg and issue the command "ffmpeg -i {file name}". Post the info here.
