Connection problem?

Hi, I have a connection problem with serviio. I use Wifi N and an iMac with mac os lion. Sometimes, when it's playing some file (for example, a 720p mkv file) the system crashes. When it happens, I have to wait some seconds/minutes to allow the tv to see the server again or I have to restart the TV. Do you know what can it be? I don't know if it's a Mac OS issue, or a router or tv problem.

Thank you!

Re: Connection problem?

could be the anything:
- slow network and the TV requires a steady stream of data
- bitrate spike in the stream causing the TV to crash
- the TV doesn't like something about the way the video has been encoded

Re: Connection problem?

I would try a hard network connection to rule out the WIFI.
