Samsung D5000 - Serviio as preset input?

I have a television, but I don't have a television connection. I only watch stuff from Serviio (I am a very faithful client). So, when I switch on the television it starts whining about missing channels and other stuff that doesn't interest me at all. So I wonder if it's possible to use the Serviio input (it goes over the network, not via video cable) as the preferred channel? There is a bit of a potential bummer: the TV doesn't 'see' the server straight away when I open the input list. It needs a few seconds to warm up to Serviio, apparently.
Any thoughts or advice in this matter?
