How to fix aspect ratio on x264/mp4
I got some TV rips encoded with x264 using the mp4 container that don't show the correct aspect ratio on my bluray player (BD-C5500). The file plays fine with 16:9 AR on the PC, but on the TV it shows some black on the sides (TV is widescreen 16:9). The problem also occurs when the files are played via USB, so that seems to be a problem with the player interpreting the file headers.
Is there some way to make serviio "fix" the aspect ratio of the video stream? I enabled transcoding but it didn't change anything. What settings to I need to change?
Also, do anyone knows a tool to "fix" the files (headers?) to play properly?
EDIT: Another thing, I have some other files that are also x264/mp4 (but with diferent AR) and those files play fine, even via Serviio. Actually the only files problematic are the HDTV rips by LOL group!?
