Metadata/Device Status Samsung HT-D5500

Hi All,

first of all I have to thank you for this great tool. After some jdk problems it is working like a charm.
I am using serviio on my win7 (64bit) system with a samsung ht-d5500 home cinema over wireless lan.

Unfortunately I got some issues:

1) when using mymovies.xml for metadata generation I can't access my files anymore. The message on the samsung is "failed to access device". The folder structure is visible though. The mymovies.xmls has been generated by MediaCenterMaster.

2) when using XBMC .nfo files for metadata generation, I dont see movies on my device, which are splitted into more files (e.g. "mymovie (2005) (part 1 of 2).avi" and "mymovie (2005) (part 2 of 2).avi").
Since XBMC metadata export function will just generate one .nfo file for this (called "mymovie (2005) (* of 2).nfo"). If I duplicate that .nfo file and rename them to (part 1 of 2) and (part 2 of 2) it works.

3) the device status for my samsung ht-d5500 is always orange (Profile = "Samsung TV/PLAYER (C/D Series)")
But since the streaming works, thats not a real problem. But maybe I can edit the profiles.xml to get a green dot? Or is the device just not capable of that feature?

Regarding point 1), I already set the log level to debug mode in log4j.xml, but I found no errors or problems during library refresh. It just seems that my device could not handle the metadata provided.
I do not know if this is a general problem with the mymovies.xml function or with my device or my whole system ;)

I am grateful for any help or information.

Best regards,
zonk

i didnt think we supported mymovie metadata files??? Zip can u confirm ?

yer thats correct, maybe combined xml for multiply part movies can be added to serviio in future release.

yer thats correct/normal its because that device doesnt support the function serviio uses to confirm its online or not.

Weird, can you see the file in AV Media Controller (Intel tools, see my signature) correctly?

Does the generated NFO include links to the 2 files or some mechanism how to match the files to the NFO?
