Problem with H264 (High 10) - Samsung UN55D7000

Hello,

I can't play a mkv file encoded with H264 (High 10) on my UN55D7000.

I receive a "Unsupported codec" on my Samsung TV.

Using Serviio on a Windows 7 Ultimate.

Could you enable detailed logging and post here ?
Its probably due to a ffmpeg crash...

All movies encoded with H264 (High 10) can't streaming on my TV.

I will provide the detailed log tomorrow.

No the problem is described in here viewtopic.php?f=5&t=6106

Basically, the high 10 videos are not picked up as needing transcoding, as serviio currently looks for baseline, main or high profiles, not high 10.

The easy option is to select the DirecTV HD-DVR profile, which will transcode everything, but that isn't great.

The proper solution would be for zip to add support for selecting videos for transcoding if their h264 profile is high 10, which hopefully wouldn't be too much effort as it can already detect baseline, main and high.

@zip - would this be an easy fix to add for 1.0, or is it more complicated that adding the extra h264 profile option to the xml dtd and updating the code to support it and the required detection?
