samsung c6500, frequent disconnects

My console now recognizes the blu-ray player, the profile is set to Samsung tv/player (c/d/e-series). Unfortunately I get disconnected within 15 seconds of opening the video directory.

Is it a firewall issue?

Edit: No replies yet ... I mistitled the subject line. The model is a 6500.

Might be router, wifi, bad cable...

Re: samsung c6500, frequent disconnects

Thanks for the reply. How can I tell what the problem is?

Samsung has their own media server. The player can switch to that server and its a stable connection. My problem is that the PC software for media share by samsung won't let me add any folders (and the folders are empty).

So on the one hand I have serviio that lets me add folders and files, but the connection is unstable.
On the other hand there's mediashare by samsung that is stable, but won't let me add folders & files.

How do you know it's stable if you cannot add any files to browse?

Re: samsung c6500, frequent disconnects

I can open the application on the player and it doesn't close like serviio. I can't add files on the PC side of it. Serviio, I can add all the files I want, but the player won't let me stay in serviio.
