Samsung SmartTV US46D5500 problems

Dear Friends,

I'm new to this so please bare with me.

I've installed Serviio Ver. 1.1 and set the profile to "Samsung TV / Player C/D/E- Series" everything seems to work nicely with my Sammy UA46D5500 I can play MKV files with DTS and also MP4 files with AC3.

The problem is as follows ;

1. Playing MKV (Anamorphic) the Aspect Ratio is wrong on my TV where as Non-Anamorphic ones are just fine
2. Playing MP4 with DTS Audio results in "Unsupported Audio Codec" and no sounds but the picture plays fine

Can anybody please kindly help me out here...

When you play a video where the aspect ratio is wrong, press the Tools button on your TV remote. You will get a menu open on your Samsung and you'll have a picture size option. Make sure it is on Mode 1, that should give the original aspect ratio the video was filmed in. Mode 2 will either fill the screen or just make it taller or it will fill the width of the screen if the original aspect is 4:3. Forget about the other modes. I leave mine on Mode 1 unless I play something filmed in 4:3 then I use Mode 2 so as it fills the width of the screen. Sorry I can't help with the audio problem I have never had that problem with my Samsung ES6300.
