Samsung Blu Ray BD-D5700

Hi all,

I promise I did do some searching before posting.

I had version 0.6.2 and everything was working fine, yesterday my blu ray player became amber (may have been amber before then, but didn't notice).

I've checked the ports via Windows firewall and all TCP and UDP seem to be open. I tried the Auto Delay and that caused a Serviio connection issue so I reverted back.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled with the newest version and now Serviio doesn't even see my Blu Ray player. I have confirmed it's connected to my wireless network as I can access other online content from my player.

I'd very much appreciate a point in the right direction to hopefully solve this. I'm not entirely tech savvy but managed to check the above items.

Thanks.

Re: Samsung Blu Ray BD-D5700

Thanks again for your help.

I opened the log and I can see some warnings etc, but not sure how to interpret them.

Some more information, which may help......

1) I'm using a wireless dongle on my PC to connect wirelessly
2) The only item that Serviio seems to be seeing is that wireless dongle (which I believe is effectively my PC)
3) My Xbox 360 is also connected to my router wired and Serviio no longer sees the Xbox either. Serviio did see it previously before I encountered this issue.

Hope that helps.

Re: Samsung Blu Ray BD-D5700

Hi,

Thank you for your suggestion.

I did run the upgrade, restarted etc. but now I'm getting an error message similar to 'Cannot connect to Serviio server, server does not appear to be running'

I ran the detailed log as per attached after looking for similar messages. I saw one topic which referred to downgrading to 1.1, but I assume that's not the route I should go since you indicated to go to 1.2.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can provide to help.
The log is attached.

Still only seeing my wireless router in the list, but I assume that's just because it's not running.

Ok, thank you very much.

Any idea when the new release 1.2.1 will be ready to possibly fix this issue?

Re: Samsung Blu Ray BD-D5700

Hi,

I've downloaded 1.2.1 and I appear to be getting closer as my TV sees my network now, however Serviio still isn't seeing my TV and vice versa.

I've attached the log, any thoughts?

Thanks,
Shaun
