Online sources not working

I am running ubuntu 12.04. I and just downloaded serviio 1.2.1. I
can stream movies to my blu ray player from my pc no problem.
I read the wiki and tried to add online sources (abc/ cbs) and added them from the plugin forum on this site. I copied the URL and downloaded the . groovy plugin and put the plugin in the serviio plugin folder.


On my blu ray player when I go to online the name of the source is there, but when I click on it the folder is empty. Did I miss a step?

Do these plugins actually work? Ask at the plugin forum.

looking in the forum it seems as they work as or april 4th. Can somebody post a known good plugin that I can try ?

All I need is a URl for location and a .groovy correct?


EDIT: I just noticed the filepath from the wiki for the plugin is : eg to /usr/bin/serviio-0.6.2/plugins for linux.
I BELIEVE my serviio is in my home folder. Is there any way I cold of unzipped the file to the home folder and the actual working copy is in the usr file? I looked in the usr file and I didn't see a serviio folder

I checked the plugins thread and the plugins I downloaded are current from the 3/31/2013. I also noticed music will only stream to AVR, but if I try to acess music from my blu ray player it shows the title of the CD but doesn't list the music. Any ideas?

The wiki article is outdated re: the location. It should just go to the plugins folder under your current Serviio installation.

plugins are in plugin folder then. Are there any commands I can run to see if I'm missing a package or something?
