A Quick question regarding deleting files from TV,

Hi, I'm about to purchase a samsung smart tv, and never had a smart tv before.
I currently use a "traditional" LCD with a dedicated HTPC (running Windows Media Center 7).
All I want to know please if Serviio (or any other app) allow me to delete files from the PC (I'll have the tv connected using a CAT-5e cable to the pc.

Also, is there an option to resume play of a video file (.mkv for example) where I left it even if the tv was switched off?

You can delete files from the TV. Samsungs will let you resume with Serviio.
