I don't think there was any major profile changes between these two versions, but maybe try restoring the backed up copy of the profile that was in use prior to upgrading and see if that helps at all.

I don't think I have a backup since I deleted the Serviio folder after trying a reinstallation of the program.

Well, I have no further ideas on what to do.

My brother told me he did uninstall and reinstall Java just before these issues happened, so I tried another uninstall and reinstall to Java 7.

Any other ideas?

try reinstalling 1.2 to see if it's really an issue with the 1.2.1 update

OK, got this resolved.

I rebooted my modem back to default settings and now Serviio is back.
