SONY BRAVIA KLD not working with Serviio

The best thing I have on my PC has been Serviio. However, I recently had to reset back to factory defaults and after adding back Serviio (yes, it was the first thing I downloaded), it now doesn't work.

When clicking the Internet/Video button on the remote and locating the video area, I could see the Serviio logo before. Now I can see three options that say Serviio but they are not showing the logo. Clicking them only says (eventually) that it can't connect to the server.

On the Serviio console itself it shows the device name as KDL -40EX403 and then the Profile shows as Sony Bravia TV (2010). However, the dot to the left of it is showing as red.

I also have two other profiles showing. 2 x Generic DLNA profiles for an 'unrecognised device' (amber dot) and Windows Media Player (red dot).

The server status is running and my PC and TV are both switched on.

Any help you can give would be appreciated.

On your tv in network settings (i think) you can remove old servers and clean up your list.

It sounds like the tv is set to dynamic hence it appears multiple times. Your router is allocating a different ip each time. You may want to set the tv to a fixed ip then you won't get multiple entries.

Serviio should indict regardless and work but given your problems, well this might help it.

You can also clear the device list on serviio console then refresh it.
