Video on avi files is colored and pixeled

I didn't have this problem untill the last serviio update. I could see all my AVI files fine and now when i play them on my Sony Media Player the videos are pixeled and colored and can't simply see. Audio is fine. Help?

This is a known issue with latest ffmpeg update. Hope that will be solved soon.

in the meanwhile, you should be able to drop in a newer version of ffmpeg to solve the issue until and update is released.

I down graded to 1.1 and it worked. But now I'm having problems with network connectivity. Please redirect me to a post where it shows me how to update newer version of ffmpeg. Im a noob. Thanks.

For windows download static build 32 or 64, then copy paste the ffmpeg.exe ons serviio/lib folder (backup old ffmpeg ): http://ffmpeg.zeranoe.com/builds/
