I have not got it yet, and would like to know this beforehand, before buying. Does Rewind and forward work with other Bravia-devices or BDP-profile machines, does anyone know?

I bought this unit, and at least mkv-videos seems to be working with "Sony BDP-Sx90"-profile. Rewind, forward works quite fine

Does this player support same files as Sony BDP-S4100? If not i would like to do something about that, so I can get all available files playing

For some reason I can not get multichannel audio to work. Player recognizes that audio stream is 5.1 DTS, but it outputs only stereo. Blu-ray disk outputs multichannel, and there seems to be no setting to set output to DTS or Dolby Digital. Any ideas?

With my samsung player audio is fine and multichannel works.

EDIT: Updated the player firmware and now multichannel sound works This player is just SO good <3

EDIT #2: It seems that these (BDP-S4100 and for example BDP-S790) have identical fileformat support. So the profile is perfect for this player, and this name could be added to that profile name

There's one important difference however in the x100 (e.g. S5100) series and the older x90 series (e.g. S790)
