Serviio does not recognise TV

I have recently downloaded and installed serviio 1.4 and am having a bit of an issue, was hoping somebody would be able to help me out.

I downloaded and installed serviio on my windows 7 laptop, it has no problems recognising my samsung smart tv which i have been streaming videos on, however serviio does not recognise my sony tv kdl60r520a.

The tv has been assigned an IP address so is definitely on the network, serviio just cant find it.

Is there any way to manually enter the IP address rather than have serviio scan for it? Or any other suggestions?

Did you enable dlna renderer function on your Sony TV ? Check on Sony menu (networks / server diagnostics)

I have looked up on various websites to see if my tele is DLNA compatible but still couldnt find the function anywhere on there.

I have contacted Sony and was told these TV's distributed in Australia didnt come with that function.

Just going to get a DLNA certified Blu Ray instead now, appreciate the help though!
