Sony Bravia KDL-55HX800 doesn't see MP4 videos

I have Serviio 1.4 and the Profile I am using in Serviio is Sony Bravia TV(2011) - US. This is the only profile that works that allows my Sony to see the Serviio media server. When browsing for my videos, all show up (.avi, .mkv) except for .MP4. Any ideas?
Re: Sony Bravia KDL-55HX800 doesn't see MP4 videos
All .MP4 ?
Could you provide information about your mp4 file ? see signature links.

I will provide info this evening. Sorry for the late response. I thought I would get in indication in messages.
Re: Sony Bravia KDL-55HX800 doesn't see MP4 videos
Oh and yes, all .mp4 videos. Only things that show are .avi and .mkv. I will provide mp4 info later on this evening.

Re: Sony Bravia KDL-55HX800 doesn't see MP4 videos
Cool. I will check to see if you found that plugin.
Re: Sony Bravia KDL-55HX800 doesn't see MP4 videos
If anyone can solve this, I will be forever grateful.
Re: Sony Bravia KDL-55HX800 doesn't see MP4 videos
Could you provide format supported by your device ? see my signature link (IntelUpnp tool)

here is what I got from the DLNA certification. Added as attachment

Thanks,
But usually, the DLNA certification does not include all supported format.
So I'd rather the results from GetProtocolInfo with the Upnp Device Spy tool (Windows Only): http://wiki.serviio.org/doku.php?id=device_sf
Re: Sony Bravia KDL-55HX800 doesn't see MP4 videos
I didn't notice, but why did you used 2011 profile ?
Your KDL-55HX800 is a 2010 model, could you select "Sony Bravia 2010" profile on serviio console.

Re: Sony Bravia KDL-55HX800 doesn't see MP4 videos
if I use the 2010 model, I don't see Serviio on the TV. Only shows up when I choose the 2011 US profile.

!!!??
What is your model region, UK, US, CA, ASIA ?
What's happen if you use generic profile ?
Re: Sony Bravia KDL-55HX800 doesn't see MP4 videos
U.S. region.
I have tried multiple profiles, only one that allows Serviio to show up is the Sony Bravia 2011 (US) profile

Re: Sony Bravia KDL-55HX800 doesn't see MP4 videos
Any ideas? Has this issue totally baffled the mind or what?

- the "Sony Bravia TV (2011) - US" profile only extends the "Sony Bravia TV (2012) - US" profile (adds transcoding of MP4 AUDIO files);
- the "Sony Bravia TV (2012) - US" profile is itself an extension of the "Sony Bravia TV (2012)" profile (adds transcoding for selected AVI files);
- the "Sony Bravia TV (2012)" profile is [like all "base" profiles] an extension of the "Generic DLNA Profile"
Similarly the other Sony Bravia profiles (the non US models - 2009, 2010, and 2011 all extend from the same father - the "Sony Bravia TV (2012)" profile) so once again these should all work for you as far as detecting the device is concerned??
So very mysterious. Notwithstanding, to fix your MP4 issue try adding this to the working "Sony Bravia TV (2011) - US" profile (edit profiles.xml and find the "Sony Bravia TV (2011) - US" profile):
after the line containing <Transcoding>. After editing your profiles.xml file you must restart your Serviio service (or your PC if you are unsure of how to do that).
As Illico stated, the better approach would be to use the "Sony Bravia TV (2010)" profile for your model, and why that doesn't work has everyone stumped, but this may at least get over your MP4 hurdle.
