No sound on MP4 files played to Sony Bravia KDL-42W650A
Hi,
I have the same problem: no sound when playing mp4 file with Sony Bravia KDL-42W650A. The Serviio server runs on an Ubuntu 12.04.
The video file was originally an AVI file. Since Bravia does not recognize this file, I converted it to mp4 with the command:
avconv -i file.avi -c copy file.mp4
The mp4 plays fine on Ubuntu - its audio channel is fine.
I have tried the suggestions in this forum thread, but they did not resolve the problem.
Could you please help? Maybe, should I convert the AVI to a different format?
